GO Group staff, in partnership with Building Bridges Cultural Exchange, a non-profit organization based in Red Wing, MN, welcomed a group of nine students and professors from China for a three-week cultural exchange program.  The goal of the program was to introduce the participants to life in the United States, and expand cultural awareness in the Red Wing community.  Program activities included sightseeing in Minneapolis, St. Paul, and Duluth, plus visits to several universities, a hobby farm, a pottery studio, the Goodhue County Historical Society, a Pow-Wow, the Prairie Island Indian Community, and Mall of America.  Program participants lived with host families while in Red Wing.  Near the end of the program they spoke about China during a presentation at the Dakota County Wescot Library.
